TriBeCa

Something tells us this isn’t going to help Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s public image in the U.S.
The former IMF chief on Wednesday moved into a luxury New York City townhouse in Tribeca, where he will remain under house arrest as he awaits trial on charges that he attempted to rape a hotel maid earlier this month.
The judge signed off on DSK’s move earlier in the day, clearing the way for him to be moved from his temporary housing in downtown Manhattan.
His new pad reportedly runs between $50,000 and $60,000 a month. The 6,800-square-feet, three-story townhouse comes with four bedrooms and five baths.
Among its swankiest features, as reported by a number of outlets ranging from the Wall Street Journal to the New York Post: the rental comes complete with its own home theater, bar, state-of-the-art kitchen, gym, spa, terrace and multiple recreation rooms.
The New York Daily News, meanwhile, has the scoop on DSK’s first dinner in his latest temporary home, reporting that he and his wife ordered $242.79 worth of steaks and salad from an upscale eatery.
